iTunes offers music on BLACKASIA Vol. 1.
20 May 2004

Inner Dream Records (IDR) , an independent label out of Beverly Hills, Ca., signed a deal with r-H to distribute, non-exclusively, music on Black Asia Vol. 1 on iTunes.

Robert Illes, President & CEO of IDR, noticed r-H when the latter was a regular on the Top 10 charts on Broadjam, an on-line community of independent musicians world wide.

"r-H's music bounces into your consciousness with exotic tastes from a foreign land, combining excellent beats, rhythm and sounds from a culture far removed from most current electronic act's. Black Asia Vol. 1 captures a feeling that transports the listener to r-H's world of the Singapore scene and we are glad to let him drive. This is fresh!", says Illes of r-H and his music.

r-H, when asked about the competitive music download industry, "The On-line music industry will be saturated sooner than you think.  It will not be a price issue but the extras these digital music stores can offer.  iTunes, apart from the software and the iPod, have taken a step further by having iPod adapters installed in BMW cars, allowing the driver to control the iPod from the steering wheel.  It is definitely great,  and essential, to be on iTunes.  I look forward to their next creative marketing strategy.

Black Asia Vol. 1 will be available on iTunes in September 2004.

Black Asia Vol. 1, an album of 11 songs produced, composed, arranged and mixed by r-H, is World Music meets Electronica.  r-H mixes Drum N Bass, Instrumental Hip Hop, Break Beat, Down Tempo with Classical Indian, Chinese, Japanese and Thai instruments and chants.  Black Asia Vol. 1 is also available on Audio Lunchbox and CD Baby.
